Escape to the bustling streets of Tokyo to learn the art of making authentic Japanese Gyoza dumplings! You will have the unique opportunity to roll up your sleeves and learn this craft from an expert, appreciating the joy of Asian cooking and the ease of making your own Japanese Gyoza at home!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Making dumplings by hand is a labour of love, with the process being both an incredibly therapeutic one, and a fun one that gets the whole family involved! In this hands-on and interactive class, our expert Chef Instructor shares their wisdom to mastering the art of Dumplings. After taken through a detailed demonstration, you will then be guided step-by-step through refining your knife skills, making dumpling fillings and learning the art of folding your dumpling wrappers into various traditional shapes. You will be making the traditional Pork and Cabbage gyoza, which may also be modified into a vegetarian version. You will also learn how to make a traditional dipping sauce. Once you have created your masterpieces, you will then plate and devour your creations with your new found foodie friends!
