OLGA DROBYSHEVA | Sommelier + Wine Expert
Olga Drobysheva is a Wine Enthusiast, Sommelier and Wine Educator. Originally from Russia, she lived in several countries in Asia and Europe until arriving in Australia, where she and her passion for wine found a home. She set on a journey to learn more about wine and accidentally became a sommelier in the process.
After working as a Sommelier in renowned establishments such as Young Wines Room and meeting many wine lovers at Wine Events, a new passion was born - to make wine approachable, easy to learn and fun for everyone. Olga quit her corporate job after 15 years in software Product Management and set on a mission to help people understand wines better through engaging and entertaining content, events and courses that she shares at @Winederella and @Wineology.Studio.
Olga believes that getting to know wines is much simpler than we think, we just need a bit of guidance. She loves sharing insights, stories and anecdotes behind wines and uncover professional secrets, tips and tricks that help anyone learn how to choose and appreciate good wine.
