Amalfi Coast Scialatielli pasta with Vongole and Pumpkin Cream
Wishing you were soaking up the Mediterranean sun on one of Italy's most famous coastlines? Escape there with us as you learn how to make two famous Amalfi Coast creations, a Limoncello Spritz and handmade Scialatielli pasta!

The word Scialatielli comes from the union of two Neapolitan words, ‘Scialare’ (to have pleasure) and ‘Tiella’ (the fry pan). This delicious dish basically means pleasure in a pan! Pair it with a refreshing Limoncello Spritz and you’ll believe you’re in the Amalfi Coast in no time!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In this fun and hands-on class, a friendly Italian Chef will begin with a demonstration and then guide you through the basic steps to making fresh Scialatielli pasta dough! You'll then learn how to cook a flavourful pumpkin cream and top it off with fresh Vongole (clams and pipis). Don't forget a zingy glass of sparkling Limoncello Spritz - you might just forget you're in your living room and not Italy! By the end of this class, you will have gained the confidence to throw away packet pasta and pre-made sauces and instead put your new skills to the test! Get hands-on with seasonal fresh local produce and make magic with a wooden spoon. These pasta cooking classes are a fabulous way to unwind after a long day at work and enjoy special time with loved ones.

WHO WILL HOST THIS EVENT:
This experience is hosted by Chef Instructor James, who is an Italian Cook, Bartender, Photographer and Videographer. After completing his Masters Degree in Law in Italy, James decided to completely change the course of his life and move down under in pursuit of a new adventure. Having worked with the likes of David Jones Food Hall and Dan Murphy's, James has a great passion and vast knowledge for everything alcohol, with a passion for cocktails and wines. He loves to shed light on the story behind the beverage whilst sharing the art of bartending and all of the experiences that have shaped him.
