Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli with Burnt Butter Sage Sauce

Roll up your sleeves and learn how to cook one of the most classic Italian pasta recipes, handmade ravioli! Made as a labour of love comprising a filling enveloped in thin pasta dough, this recipe is a simple and delicious one that should definitely be in your pasta repertoire.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In this fun and hands-on class, our experienced Italian Chef will take you through a detailed demonstration before you will be guided step-by-step in making the ravioli dough from scratch, stuffing them with a classic spinach and ricotta filling, and pairing it with an elegant burnt butter and sage sauce. By the end of this class, you will have gained the confidence to throw out those packet pastas and sauces and try mastering your own at home, whilst also learning where to source the freshest seasonal and local ingredients. Our pasta making classes are also wonderful, stress-free ways to have a laugh with your loved ones. From birthday parties to hens party ideas, you and your favourite people can get cooking with one another, all from the comfort of your own kitchens.

WHO WILL HOST THIS EVENT:
This experience is hosted by Chef Instructor James, who is an Italian Cook, Bartender, Photographer and Videographer. After completing his Masters Degree in Law in Italy, James decided to completely change the course of his life and move down under in pursuit of a new adventure. Having worked with the likes of David Jones Food Hall and Dan Murphy's, James has a great passion and vast knowledge for everything alcohol, with a passion for cocktails and wines. He loves to shed light on the story behind the beverage whilst sharing the art of bartending and all of the experiences that have shaped him.
