Get ready to be transported back in time as we learn a dish made famous in the late '60s, early '70s and making a revival on the food scene today. Pair it with a classic vodka cocktail or two and we guarantee a good time in store! This trending dish exploded onto the American food scene at a time when vodka was soaring in popularity. Its clever creator realised that vodka’s boozy sharpness served as a perfect foil for the sweetness of cooked tomatoes and heft of heavy cream, and it was through this revelation that a cosy, comforting, perfectly balanced Italian-American recipe was born.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In this fun and hands-on class, our experienced Italian Chef will share a family recipe very dear to his heart, having been passed down from his Italian godfather.
After sharing, Chef James will kick off this vodka pasta party by teaching you how to make two famous vodka-based cocktails; the Cosmopolitan and the Moscow Mule. With a cocktail in hand, you'll then be guided step-by-step in cooking this American-Italian pasta classic. By the end of this class, you'll have gained the confidence to throw out those packet sauces and try mastering your own pasta sauce at home, whilst also adding some crowd-pleasing recipes to your repertoire!
Crack open the vodka and celebrate with your group at this fun and unique online class. Perfect for end of year team building activities or exciting hens party ideas, everyone will be able to have a laugh over this hands-on cocktail and cooking experience!

WHO WILL HOST THIS EVENT:

This experience is hosted by Chef Instructor James, who is an Italian Cook, Bartender, Photographer and Videographer. After completing his Masters Degree in Law in Italy, James decided to completely change the course of his life and move down under in pursuit of a new adventure. Having worked with the likes of David Jones Food Hall and Dan Murphy's, James has a great passion and vast knowledge for everything alcohol, with a passion for cocktails and wines. He loves to shed light on the story behind the beverage whilst sharing the art of bartending and all of the experiences that have shaped him.
