Armed with a passion for baking lip-smacking desserts, it’s no coincidence Zak’s Greek name literally translates to ’Sugar’ in Greek! His passion for the sweeter things in life was passed down from his big Greek family who all love making magic in the kitchen. Zak graced our screens on Season 2 of Adriano Zumbo's 'Just Desserts' where he proudly showcased his Greek heritage and cleverly incorporated it into his creative pastry work! Having been inspired by his experience on the show, Zak is renowned as Adelaide's up and coming Willy Wonka!
Zak is au fait with all Greek desserts, including his signature evil eye mousse cake ’The Mati’ - a chocolate mousse cake filled with chocolate crisp pearls on a hazelnut biscuit base and decorated with a delicious white chocolate glaze and edible silver foil. “My dessert style is taking Greek ingredients and making them modern!” It is Zak’s passion to open his very own Greek pastry shop, based on his current business called ZÁCARY desserts.
